Hasovitsa 2007

 

         Dear readers, here you can see some pictures with short description of the third National Home Education Conference. Meeting 2007 was held in Rodopien village Hasovitsa, 11 km away from Smolyan. The difference at the meeting this time, unlike the previous two, was a program for the children, running at the same time with a program for the mothers and fathers. All of the families were pleased and encouraged. Now all of us are looking forward to the next one.

 

         The homeschooled kids also eagerly waiting for more meetings with their friends from all over the country. With each passing year the kids grow and show more talents. Some of them performed classical pieces on piano, others recited poems, and third read tales written by them. There was a logical bee with two kids’ teams. The winners shared the grand prize (a big and delicious cake) with the second team. The kids received also other prizes according the points they gathered.

 

         One thing we may say for sure – the annual conferences, which become a tradition, was extremely helpful for kids and parents. The opportunity to be in touch and to share homeschooling experience with others was great help for all, who have taken upon them the challenge of home education.
